Court garden car park - barriers
Wycombe District Council has moved two existing barriers at Court Garden in a bid to reduce the number of anti-social behaviour incidents being reported at the Marlow car park.
During 2010 there were 111 incidents of anti-social behaviour in the Court Garden area reported to Thames Valley Police from January to December, half of which were recorded as vehicle nuisance or inappropriate use of vehicles. The Public Safety Team and noise nuisance teams have also received numberous reports.
The Council is acting on these complaints and working to reduce the disturbance for Marlow residents and visitors by moving existing barriers at the car park. The barriers will now be used to close the car park overnight - they will be locked at 10pm and opened again at 7am on week days, and by 9.30am at the weekend and Bank Holidays.
Car park users should note that there will be no release from this section of the car park after 10pm - however the rest of the car park will remain open as usual.
