MARLOW CEMETERY

The Town Council runs the Cemetery in Wethered Road, Marlow (location map) and maintains the site to a very high standard.  Interments can be arranged through Funeral Directors or through the Town Council direct for the interment of ashes.  On site a pretty Chapel is available to hire throughout the year for services of any kind.  Built in 1910 the Chapel seats up to 30 with standing room for a further 20.  A small amount of visitor parking is available on site and the pay and display Dean Street car park is short walk away.  Access gates to the site at Wethered Road are opened / closed at dawn / dusk every day.  The rear gate from Sandygate is currently opening on a trial basis on Sundays and bank holidays from 8am to 8pm.  The opening times will change from October to 8am to 4pm.  During the week, Peter Harris, the Cemetery Superintendent looks after the site and is happy to assist visitors.  Please note there is no vehicular access into the grounds for visitors.

Mobility scooters and manual wheelchairs are available to use free of charge to visitors to the cemetery on Friday mornings.  Please contact the office for further details or in person on site with Peter Harris.  You are advised to book in advance.  A simple hire form must be completed prior to using the scooters and chairs.
