CIVIC SERVICE

 Town Mayor, Cllr Jocelyn Towns held her Civic Service on Sunday 19th February 2012 in All Saints Church Marlow.  Minister John Bustin warmly welcomed her guests to the service. Dignitaries included  Sir Henry Aubrey- Fletcher, Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, Cllr M Colston, Chairman of Bucks CC, Cllr I McEnnis, Chairman of Wycombe District Council, Cllr T Snaith, Deputy Mayor of High Wycombe, Cllr Mrs M Harker, Mayor of Amersham,  Cllr D Banfield, Chairman Little Marlow Parish Council,  Cllr B Johnson, Chairman, Great Marlow Parish Council and Mr Stuart Carter, Marlow Town Clerk.  Other guests invited by the Mayor included representatives from a wide range of local clubs and organisations.

The All Saints Girls Choir beautifully sang an Anthem.  Reverend Dave Bull, the new Rector of All Saints gave an address on the Mayor's theme "community and youth."  A collection was taken for the Mayor's chosen charity, The Marlow Sports Club.

Following the service, light refreshments were on offer to the guests in the church.
