Town Mayor's
Charity Golf Day.

Town Mayor, Cllr Richard Scott held his Charity Golf Day at Harleyford Golf Club on Tuesday 15th April.

A record 23 Teams took part in the Golf Day which included members of Harleyford and a large number of corporate teams.

Some returning from taking part last year and some taking part for the first time this year.

The RAF returned to defend their title of Winners of the Mayor’s Cup last year and succeeded!

Runners Up were Hampton International, with Emerson Team 1 coming in 3rd.

The Individual competition was won by Keith Gordon, of Gordons Solicitors.

Nearest the Pin was won by Kevin Harris of Emerson and the Longest Drive won by Graham Davis also from Emerson.

A great day’s golf was followed by dinner in the Club’s Pavilion Restaurant where the prizes were awarded and an auction held.

Among many of the prizes donated was a Magnum of Vintage Taylors Port 1984 donated by the Town Mayor.

The Town Mayor would like to express his sincere thanks for all gifts and donations received.

The Mayor is to present a cheque to his chosen charity, Marlow Age Concern, very shortly and it is expected to be in the region of £5,000.
