Marlow In Bloom

Front Garden Competition

The Town Council held its annual Marlow in Bloom competition again this year. Nominations were invited from homeowners who were proud of their front garden, neighbours and passers-by.

The judging took place at the end of July. The gardens ranged from quite small compact gardens, to quite large but they all had one thing in common – they were delightful!

After a morning spent judging, decisions had to be made which was a very difficult task due to the diversity of gardens.

However, decisions were made and the winners, listed below, have all been invited to attend a Reception given by the Mayor, who will present the winners with cups, certificates and prizes.

1st: Mrs K Kirby, Westhorpe Road

2nd: Mrs E Cundy, Seymour Court Road

3rd: Mr R Springett, Barnhill Road

Highly Commended: Mrs P Hall, Dedmere Court
