Senior Citizens New Year Luncheon.

Town Mayor, Cllr Neil Marshall hosted the 2009 Senior Citizens Lunch. This event took place for the 2nd year in the sumptuous surroundings of the General Higginson Room, Court Garden.
The Mayor and the Deputy Mayor, Cllr Richard Scott joined the guests for an excellent three course meal. |

Each guest was given free entry into the raffle for a chance to win one of the 26 prizes provided by Marlow Town Council. Thanks go to Westside Fruit Ltd of Booker for providing the star prize of an impressive fruit basket. |

Each guest left with a small gift donated by Waitrose Ltd. The Town Council would like to thank Waitrose for its continued support of this event. |

This is an important event for the elderly who can meet up with old friends and possibly make new ones. It is also something to look forward to once the hustle and bustle of Christmas has finished and brighten up the gloomy month of January. |
